Concrete tile roof on an Arizona home

Roof Repair

Most roof problems don't need a new roof. A leak usually starts in one place — a cracked tile, a gap in the flashing, a lifted shingle, a worn seal around a vent or skylight — and fixing that spot properly costs far less than replacing everything. We find where the water is actually getting in, show you photos, and repair it. If the roof really is at the end of its life, we'll tell you that too.

What we repair

We repair tile, shingle, metal and foam roofs on homes and commercial buildings.

Active leaks and ceiling stains
Cracked, slipped or missing tiles
Lifted or blown-off shingles
Flashing at walls, chimneys and valleys
Seals around vents, pipes and skylights
Emergency repairs after storm damage

Repair or replace?

A repair makes sense when the damage is isolated and the rest of the roof has life left. When leaks keep coming back in different places, the problem is often underneath — on tile roofs, that's usually the underlayment. We show you what we find and put our recommendation in writing.

What customers say

I received a text for a free roof inspection. I really didn't want one, I wasn't looking for problems. However, I already had one. Two of my roof tiles had fallen from the second story, almost hit my AC units and managed not to crack. A 3rd one was looming, edged to fall next. I asked Logan, who came out for the inspection, if he could instead just do the repair so I would not get a leak with the exposed roof during the AZ monsoon season. Mind you, it a 100 and hot outside. He said, yeah no problem and proceeded to get up on the roof and fixed them. He also did the inspection, lol! The best part was, Lucas is a walking angel and didn't even charge me to put the 2 fallen tiles back up. He quoted me a price to redo my roof and it was more reasonable than I expected. He told me they even offer financing. Lucas earned a client for life with me. When I am ready ProGuard will be installing my roof. They have an ROC # and the customer service was off the charts. Very grateful I got that te

We are very happy with our decision to use ProGuard Roofing to replace our 19 year old tile roof. The whole process was very professional and affordable. The guys worked long days to get the roof fixed and replaced in 2 1/2 days. There were a lot of issues that had to be dealt with because of the age of the roof. They did a great job on the clean up also. It’s nice to have a peace of mind that my roof will not be leaking anytime soon!

FAQs

How do you find where a roof leak is coming from?

Water often travels before it shows up on a ceiling, so the stain isn't always under the leak. We trace it from inside and out — checking flashing, vents, valleys and the tiles or shingles above — and photograph what we find so you can see it too.

Can you replace a few broken tiles without redoing the roof?

Yes. We replace cracked, slipped or missing tiles with matching ones and check the underlayment beneath them while the tiles are up. If that underlayment is failing across the roof, we'll tell you, since patching tiles won't stop those leaks.

Do you do emergency roof repairs?

Yes. If water is coming in, call us at (623) 262-7752. We'll stop the leak first, then come back for a proper repair.

Do you repair foam and flat roofs?

Yes. Blisters, cracks, worn coating and ponding water on foam and flat roofs are usually repairable without replacing the whole roof.
