What we check
On tile, shingle, metal and foam roofs, we look at everything that keeps water out, not just what's visible from the street.
Buying or selling a home?
A general home inspection rarely goes into the detail a roofer does. We inspect the roof, explain what the home inspector flagged, and give you a written condition report and quote, so you can negotiate or plan repairs before closing.
What customers say
ProGuard Roofing did an amazing job from start to finish. Logan made us feel very comfortable and informed about every detail. Garrett and his team were amazing. They put in 12 hour days and did a fabulous job. That attention to detail and final inspection made us feel very confident in our decision. I would highly recommend them to anyone from roof repair to complete roof overhaul.
I received a text for a free roof inspection. I really didn't want one, I wasn't looking for problems. However, I already had one. Two of my roof tiles had fallen from the second story, almost hit my AC units and managed not to crack. A 3rd one was looming, edged to fall next. I asked Logan, who came out for the inspection, if he could instead just do the repair so I would not get a leak with the exposed roof during the AZ monsoon season. Mind you, it a 100 and hot outside. He said, yeah no problem and proceeded to get up on the roof and fixed them. He also did the inspection, lol! The best part was, Lucas is a walking angel and didn't even charge me to put the 2 fallen tiles back up. He quoted me a price to redo my roof and it was more reasonable than I expected. He told me they even offer financing. Lucas earned a client for life with me. When I am ready ProGuard will be installing my roof. They have an ROC # and the customer service was off the charts. Very grateful I got that te
Totally recommend Austyn & Jeremy at ProGuard. The last storm we had was wild and I had numerous tiles on my roof fly off and break. They came out and did a free roof inspection. They got the tile delivered and installed the following day!! Great customer service and very clean job.
FAQs
Are your roof inspections really free?
Yes. Inspections are free and there's no obligation to hire us. If you'd like a ballpark first, the instant online estimate measures your roof from satellite imagery in under a minute.
How often should I have my roof inspected?
Arizona heat and monsoon storms are hard on roofs, so it's worth having yours checked every few years, after any major storm, and before buying or selling a home. Tile roofs nearing 20 years old are worth a look even if nothing seems wrong, since that's when underlayment typically starts to fail.
What do I get after the inspection?
Photos of what we found and a written summary of the roof's condition. If anything needs work, you also get an itemized quote and our honest recommendation, including when nothing needs doing yet.
Do you work with home inspectors and real estate agents?
Yes. Home inspectors and agents refer their clients to us, and we can work with them directly on findings, quotes and repair timing for a closing.

“…he actually had everything detailed out of what was going to be replaced and how much each thing cost.”
